Welcome to Saint Johns Movers! These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for using our services. By hiring our moving services, you accept and agree to be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Scope of Services

1.1 Saint Johns Movers provides professional moving services, including local and long-distance moves, residential and commercial relocations, and moving and storage solutions.
1.2 The services are delivered as per the details agreed upon in the service contract.

2. Booking and Payments

2.1 A booking is considered confirmed only after a deposit or full payment is received.
2.2 All payment terms, including rates, deposits, and final payment, will be specified in the service agreement provided at the time of booking.
2.3 Additional charges may apply for services not included in the initial agreement, such as packing supplies, last-minute changes, or additional labor.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

3.1 Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled move will qualify for a partial refund, subject to a cancellation fee.
3.2 Cancellations within 48 hours of the move date may not be eligible for a refund.
3.3 Rescheduling requests will be accommodated based on availability, and additional charges may apply if the rescheduled date impacts resources or staffing.

4. Responsibilities of Saint Johns Movers

4.1 We take all reasonable steps to ensure the safe transportation of your belongings.
4.2 Our team uses industry-standard packing materials and equipment to protect your items during transit.
4.3 We are not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances such as weather, traffic, or acts of nature.

5. Customer Responsibilities

5.1 The customer is responsible for providing accurate details regarding the items to be moved, the pickup and delivery locations, and any special requirements.
5.2 Customers must ensure all items are packed and labeled appropriately, except where packing services have been requested.
5.3 Valuable items, such as jewelry, cash, and important documents, should not be included in the shipment.

6. Liability and Limitations

6.1 Saint Johns Movers is not liable for damages to items that were not properly packed by our team or pre-existing damages.
6.2 Liability for loss or damage during the move is limited to $0.60 per pound per item unless additional insurance coverage has been purchased.
6.3 Claims for damaged or missing items must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

7. Storage Services

7.1 Storage services are provided based on the agreed-upon terms outlined in the service contract.
7.2 Customers must ensure items placed in storage comply with our safety policies. Hazardous materials, perishables, or illegal items are prohibited.

8. Prohibited Items

8.1 Saint Johns Movers does not transport hazardous materials, explosives, firearms, illegal substances, or perishable goods.
8.2 Customers are responsible for ensuring no prohibited items are included in their shipment.

9. Termination of Services

9.1 Saint Johns Movers reserves the right to terminate services if:

• The customer breaches the terms of the agreement.
• There is unsafe or inappropriate behavior at the moving site.

10. Privacy Policy

10.1 Saint Johns Movers collects and processes personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10.2 Your information will only be used for communication, service delivery, and legal obligations.

11. Governing Law

11.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
11.2 Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Florida.

12. Amendments

12.1 Saint Johns Movers reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
12.2 Customers are encouraged to review this page periodically to stay informed about any changes.
